Dermot Ryan

After many years of travel in India I began my Yoga journey in 2013. Having completed my Teacher Training Certification in 2016 at the Aarsha Yoga Vidya Peetham in India I then completed my Advanced Teacher Training Certification (RYT 500) in February 2018 at the Sivananda Yoga Vidya Peetham under the guidance of the renowned teacher Swami Govindananda Saraswati

I practice and teach Yoga in the traditional way as taught in the Sivananda Yoga Tradition. The five points of the tradition are, Proper Exercise, Proper Breathing, Proper Relaxation, Proper Diet and Positive Thinking/Meditation.

My classes include the 12 Basic Asanas of the system with variations, short Pranayama and a sprinkling of humour and philosophy . My classes cater for all levels of practitioners and beginners are always welcome
